Default Cobb stage 1 93 oct

I just got my AP in tonight and just loaded the stage 1 93 oct map b/c i have not received my uppipe and downpipe yet which they said two more weeks on the downpipe but they are shipping the cel fix and upipe out now. Anyways should there be a noticable difference from stock to stage one, b/c i felt nothing. I know it works b/c i tried valet and it was hillarious....cant wait to use that one...lol....anyways and b/c i set it on the "see boost" or w/e it says and im boostin 15.x psi now sooo.... should there be a noticable or is that just how it is?

I've talked to a few people who have had differing opinions. Some say it's the best money they've spent on an otherwise stock car. Others say that they only felt a different on stage 2 and stage 2.5

I have been running stage 1 now for a little over a month. . . give your ECu some time. . .Your target boost should be right at 15.8 psi. (please use a passenger to look at the live boost on the AP while you drive). You should feel quicker acceleration, tends to be smoother going up through the RPM's (mainly 3,500 - 7,000 rpm).

I reverted back to stock yesterday for the hell of it and wow. . .there is a big difference. I only run the 93 octane map. Stock sucks. MY turbo back exhaust should be here in 3-4 weeks.

This might sound weird but drive it on Stage 1 93 octane for about 500-600 miles (drive it hard. . .don't beat the crap out of it), I mean look at least 5000 - 6000 through 1st and secound gear often . . . .when your 500 miles are up revert back to stock and drive it just like you have been. I garantee you will be like ah crap this thing is slow as pooh.

When you first flash the ECU to STG 1 the timing is at the midrange of the advance curve. With good fuel and a no knock the advance will increase and the performance of the car will increase as well. There is a little trick you can do to get the max advance out of the ignition in a few seconds so do a search for Vishnu ECU quick learning trick. I did this and you could tell a difference between stock and stg 1 easily.

I noticed a difference right a way, and was very happy with stage 1. I do think it is one of the best bang for the buck mods. I was stage 1 for about 8 months. Just went stage 2 last week and loving life.
