Where you located? You could just borrow one...

Also, what year car do you have? Come on man, throw us a bone here...

And call Cobb so they can mail you one, otherwise if you sell it, you'll have to specify that and might not get enough money for it.

Uh read post titles much? 04 WRX AP

I plan on getting the connector. the vendor i bought it from had better send it. but i want to flash right now, the connector is just a jumper, so all i need to know is what wires to cross.

Just looked in my manual. I don't know about the jump idea. I'd wait a coupe days until you get the connector. One loose wire while reflashing and pzzzzt, there goes your ECU.

Cobb. Call them. I do know the connector varies from the different model years as well. There was some discussion of it on openecu.org as well.

ok all i need is confermation now.

the connector has 6 pin locations, in two rows of 3.

only the outside 4 are used. (1,4,3,6)

|(1)(2)(3)|
|(4)(5)(6)|

1 connects to 4 and 3 connects to 6.

is this correct?

Crawdads, you posted the same question on www,wrxforum.com ?? Hehe, it's me who told you the pin setup over there. I'm surprised that no one here can confirm with what comes off my head.... and yeah, I mean 1 connects to 4, and 3 connects to 6.
Too bad Cobb didn't confirm the setup....they should at least confirm the setup, and tell you the warranty craps after that, hehe..

Just got my AP today and yes, the connector is exactly as you described.

EDIT: quick note, when I turned the ignition to ON after having connected the test/init connectors and the AP, a few things started to turn on and off, including - I guess - the radiator fan. Well, at first I was a little dubious, then I pressed the OK button on the AP and everything went quiet. Just for you to know...
