Default Header with cobb stage 2??

Currently i have an uppipe and turboback and was thinking of adding a header then getting an accessport. Can i run there stage 2 map safely with a header back??? This would be the last engine mod for the car so i dont want a utec really. Thanks

borla headers. like them alot...you'll lose a bit power down low, spool a cpl 100 rpms slower, but after 3.3.-3.5k theres alot more power all the way up.

I suggest you get them coated or wrapped nicely before you install to help with the lag. I plan on doing this but am too lazy to deal with it..which is why you should do it b4 you install.

do they notice a gain with the header? Could i run stage 2 map on my STI with hks header, custom downpipe, hks catback, and a typhoon intake (i'll take it off if i have to)?

A header works with stage 2 but don't be supprised if you don't hit taget boost, and you low end torque is lost a little bit. Now that the protuner is coming out you can just get tuned. If this is all you want to do just get reflashed, you don't need a utec.
