Exclamation For All Who want to Come to the Carolina Motorsports Park Auto X

This should be a very fun event so I don't want anyone who wants to come to miss out. You must preregister for this event!!! You can get the registration form from here. The form has to be there by August 4th!

For any of you that have not Autocrossed before you must fill out G-Stock (GS) as your class if you are stock. If you are not stock you will probably be in the STS class. Either way do not fill out the form to be in a Novice class because all novices must have attended one event prior to this one. And if this is your fist autocross you won't be eligiable to participate if you sign up under a novice class.

Was that ok for me to tell them Steven ???

Anyway, this should a real fun event!!! Does anyone have a camcorder I want to get some footage on tape!!!

Well I'm sad to say that I will not be competing in this event or maybe any other events for the rest of this season but that doesn't mean I won't come though.

ImprezedRS what's up? Bust your car? There are only two CCR events left after the CMP weekend, 24 Heure Du Mall NCAC #4, and Autocross #7 at Knight's stadium.

We missed you in Asheville this past weekend. It was a simple quick course that was a lot of fun!

Motohead......uhmmmmmm good question. Its in Asheville. Ask Pleides or Deadbolt. I am no longer going to be able to make it due to some issues that have come about at work. Looks like I won't make the solo II event either. Damnit........

Yeah I will be there to support, but not to race I just don't have the money or tires for that matter to do this event and not sure on the rest.

For all those who are curious about the track layout there:

The part to the left of the intersection will be the solo 2 course. The part to the right of the intersection will be the solo 1 course.

Looks like fun!

Ok, PROBLEM!

I really want to do this one. I'll be in town and everything. I notice the entry form specifies that you MUST have competed in at least one NCAC or CCR-SCCA autocross and have printed proof of that competition (results sheet) in order to run in this event.

Whaaa???

Somebody explain this to me, it sounds like bureaucratic BS. I've heard that specific complaint many times about the SCCA, tell me it ain't so!

Also, I'm in Chicago right now and probably won't have a chance to mail them a check until Monday. Are they really going to turn me down?

What's the dilly, yo?

Well I might run in this one, I should get my new tires tomorow, but I'm still worried about my engine, I can't take it in till Monday and I don't want to pay for this and then not be able to run in it. I forgot what dat it is but I will be there early in the morning, just look out for a big guy with earings and a tongue ring.

Well I got the new tires, but havn't got the engine fixed. So I guess I won't be racing this one then but I will still be there Sunday I think since I'm going down to savanna, GA fri and coming back Sun. Good luck to all, and ChaosThom you would have had some serious compatition from me at this one since I have gotten the kinks out of my intake setup.
