Default clear bra

I remember seeing a couple of cars with em at the meeting a couple weeks back. Where did ya get them and how much?

I noticed a couple nicks this mornign when I was washing the car. I want to "nip this problem in the bud" before all the big stuff starts getting thrown onto the roads this winter.

TIA

-jay

any tint shop should be able to do it. I had my RS done for $300 (hood, entire front bumper and side mirrors). It does a good job of protecting where it is, but where it's not you still get chips. Subaru really should do something about their paint, but then again it is a Subaru.

Check with Paul B aka PunksWRX. He had probably the best clear bra there. Very good coverage, and well worth any money you can spend for your WRX, if you leave in 'Rock chips everywhere" Colorado!

Default Clear bra

I had my WRX and Civic done by Integrity Dealer Systems on Broadway at County line Road. They do the cars for MacDonald Automotive Group (Audi, VW, Volvo, Mazda). They did and excelent job and I believe I paid $350 for the whole front end and mirrors. It is an extra $50 for the lights.

I paid $240 for a clear bra and a tint job in Lakewood. I just have the clear bra on the hood and front of the 1/4 panels.
I just went back last weekend to see how much they'd charge to do another car (prelude) and they wanted $360....so I'm going to look elsewhere.

Thumbs up

I had the 3M clear bra put on my WRX by Burt Subaru when I boiught it. I paid $195, but only after I talked them down from $250. I don't know if non-Burt customers would get the same deal or not, but maybe it's worth a try.

I don't think Burt actually installs the bra - I assume they have a tinter/bra installer they like to work with.

FWIW, I think it's a much better choice than a cloth bra, and it seems to be working pretty well so far. Anybody have a lead on a wire or plastic grill for protecting WRX foglamps?

I had mine done at Rocky Mountain Window Tint on Fillmore. They did a great job and used really thick 3m scotchcal. $149, and another $149 for the tint.
