Default Perrin or helix?

Hi im am about to by an uppipe and a downpipe to my WRX wich one do you guys think give me the best effects and sound between perrin and helix?

Pretty much the only difference is that the Perrin will be more expensive. They're both good pipes with good gains. They're probably within 1-2 hp of each other. As far as sound, they ought to sound almost identical.

Are you looking to go catted or catless? Catless up/downpipes sound nice w/ the stock exhaust. Not too loud at all, but give it a little more noise.

im looking for a catless. i think it will be helix then, my tranny just broke down so i dont have much money left. =(

perrin has better customer service since you can go right to them and helix is a little harder to do that. Both are great pieces however w/ the helix being cheaper. Helix offers a catted version of their d/p while perrin discontinued theirs a long time ago. Perrin's stuff is all made is the good old usa too...

well.. im from sweden, and the stuffs for cars are much cheaper in the US
but i thought helix made a catless DP and up-pipe?
