Default Crap. Got accepted into the WRONG program!

So I'm going back for my second Masters degree. I applied to a school for a program in information assurance, and I get a letter today telling me I've been accepted into a program for information systems.

So now I have to find out if that's a typo, or if I can get this fixed somehow.

Either way, this doesn't instill a ton of confidence...

That's so lame...that's how stanford was....for grad school you have to apply to a subdivision of the Biosciences division of the med school...if there are a different amount of openings than good people, they just take it upon themselves to rearrange people.

Biochemists ending up in Cancer Biology, etc...and you had to fight to change it. So stupid.

First one is Info Systems and Technology Management. Basically an MIS and MBA combined in a business school.

So you can see why I don't want or need an MIS...

Yeah. I'm hoping that's along the lines of what's happening, but we'll see.

However, if it was Stanford, I'd be complaining a lot less.

Where did you go with that degree, and why are you trying to get another? Just wondering, as here we have IS masters, but nothing that combines business and info sys, which is what I wanted.

University of Delaware. I was the second class to go into it, so it's only 3 years old at this point.

Yup.

Well, I guess that's all cleared up. I'm back in the right program after all.

Haha. Excellent.

When I was going to undergrad, we all saw it as a commuter school since we lived in Fairfax. But it's been getting better and better every year. Their law school is top tier now!

Pretty cool.
