Hey guys.

1) Wot brands ppl are using
2) What the current pricing wa
3) Where u bought them from

This would be for sti which have a 6-speed box. as Ive heard that different clutch assemblies are required for a 5-speed

Thanks in advance

I have the Exedy Twin Disk and it rocks! Clutch pedal pressure is about the same as stock or lighter (maybe my leg is getting stronger??) It rips and grips too. Has a small engagement zone, so you have to get used to it.

I've done launches at auto-x's with it. I run 255/40/17 Kuhmo Victorracers on the stock BBS rims and If I tach it up to anywhere over 4500RPM and drop the clutch, it induces massive 4 wheel burnouts all the way through first gear!!! But I usually launch at 5500 or 6000 b/c it doesn't produce as much wheel hop, just spins. But if you took this car to a good prepped dragstrip, I can probably assume that this clutch would be a differential or halfshaft killer....

Engine mods are CP pistons, ARP Head Studs, Turboback Exhaust.

im running the exedy twin and love it. the only downside i have is when the clutch is disengaged, it rattles, but from numerous people this is common with the twin plate. it does not effect it at all mechanically. It gets my vote. I will keep you posted though b/c on may 23 im stepping up to have my t67 sitting in my room installed and hopefully the clutch will hold with that.

my mods are perrin sri, perrin turbo inlet,gt spec header/uppipe,perrin rail,pe 850inj, turbo xs fmic, td06-20g int wast, walboro, ecutek. im putting down to the wheels according to delta dash apprx 425 to the wheels on 93

RPS "Max" with 6 puck.

I bought it based on a recommendation from one of our road racing "tuners". I'm glad I did; I'll never own another Exedy....I hated it.

I've heard good things about the RPS clutches too.

Why did you not like the Exedy and which one did you have?

Wrong forum! Aside from that, HP has zero to do with clutches. :wavingkitty:
