Default rear sway bars- do any of them fit multiple years/models or do I have to be specific?

Looking for one for my 99 imp obs...seeing some for 98, 2000 etc. Is there an easy way to tell if the bar for one certain year will fit mine also?

Sorry if this post is half riddle...replenishing coffee supply now.

any 1993-2001 rear sway bar will work on your 99 OBS.

WRX was 2002 and on... So im not sure exactly what your asking.

ANY model impreza (L, OBS, sedan, wagon, coupe, 2.5RS etc) swaybar from 1993-2001 are completly interchangeable so an aftermarket rear swaybar for a 2001 2.5RS will bolt right up to a 99 OBS and so on.

as far as imprezas 2002 and on, I do not know for certain.

ALL impreza (non STi) rear sway bars are compatible.
this means, rs, ts, wrx, L, LSi, etc.

STi however, will not fit any other Impreza in this country (as a bolt on)

dude, either way, a WRX swaybar will fit. I was trying to give him a simple answer to his question. its not that big of a deal. I am very well aware that the WRX was available elsewhere before it came to the US as a 2002 model. I was well aware of that long before they arrived here.
