Default Can anyone explain the 04-05 closed loop/open loop lean cond.?

I keep hearing about this delay between closed loop and open loop fueling in the 04 + WRX.

Does anyone know exactly what the deal is? Is it a problem with just 91 octane CA gas?

Yes. Right here. It is done very well, and it is sticky.

No. If you read the thread you will see it happens on quality 93 as well.
