cleared my headlights and now drivers side low beam doesn't work
ok so tonight i took the headlights out my 04 wrx and cleared them, everything went good, put them back in the car and the driver side low beam doesn't work, the bulb is good and not blow, i tested it on the other side. so then i look at the fuse and see the fuse is blown, so i'm like ok new fuse. put a new fuse in and it still doesn't work? anyone have any idea what could be going on?
thanks

Pinch a wire against some metal? I'd pull the light assy. back out and check that. First just unplug the harness there and and check that there isn't some wire shaving in it or something weird. Something is shorted to ground.

If the fuse was not blown before you cleared your lights, then wouldn't that mean that it blew when you reinstalled them and tried to turn them on? Did you check the new fuse that you put in to make sure that it did not blow like the one before it?

yes the fuse is good and it's not blown, something weird is going on
with both fuses in only the passenger side works, with just the pass fuse in the pass side works but with just the driver fuse in the high beams turn on but are super dim?? |
