Question When do these Tribecas hit the showroom floor?

I see the pre-ordering info on the website. I'm guessing we'll start seeing them this summer perhaps??

They are slowly making their way out as all the ones at ROTW were actual production cars not a pre-production model which is suprising. They were apparently the only 5 in most of the so. cal area.
Should see them across the country in the next month or two.

I saw one driving into Grayson Subaru here in Knoxville on tuesday. Already had plates on it. Looks like a minivan.

Spoke with the parts manager @ my local dealer. He said they were late on theirs...'spose to get them last week. I asked him about it 'cause they had some replacement parts in boxes that had come in.

We are getting about 11 of them from the 18th to the 24th. 4 are pre-sold but the others will be available. If you pre-order by the 20th, you get either a free tow pkg, 500 subaru bucks, or a hand held satalite radio. Please send me an e-mail at jasonz350z@comcast.net for more info.

Commercials for the Tribeca should start airing in mid July.

Ron Price here in South San Francisco has two Tribeca's. He got them in on Tuesday. I managed to get into one that still had the delivery wrap on it that he had in a back lot. I must say I am impressed with the car, it looks really nice inside, and the exterior is MUCH better looking in person. My only gripe about the car is the bulge in the rear, for some strange reason it reminds me of a love handle...

Yesterday I got a chance to talk with the head of Subaru USA's plant in Indiana Mashiro Kasai - I even got pictures with him and my wife next to the B9 - he told me that the US plant was held to the exact same standards as the plants in Japan. He also gave me his card with his cell phone on it to call him if I have any problems with the B9 - well actually my dad since he is the one looking at getting the B9. Meeting Mr. Kasai was very fortunate as he is a real stand up guy and seemed genuinely thrilled that we were looking at the B9.

But I digress - go to your local dealer and check them out; odds are they have a B9 somewhere around the lot.

Has ANY dealership gotten them in Atlantic Blue Pearl yet? If so, PLEASE post pics as I'm sick to death of seeing silver, white, gold, and that horrid seamist green over and over again!

Lithia Subaru in Oregon City Oregon has like 5-6 of them. Given that they only have like 35 used subarus in stock and like 1 Baja, thats a pretty large percentage of total inventory!

35 used Subaru's is alot. We only have 5 right now, but we are a fairly small operation. And used Scoobies are hard to come by in Colorado. No ABP yet, we getting a loaded up 7pass Black one either this week or the Beginning of next though, pretty exicted to see it.

This weekend I got a chance to take a look at and sit in a 7-Pass Black B9-Tribeca at Subaru of Thousand Oaks. Seeing it in-person and up-close really changes your impression of the car. It definitely has a bold look up front, muscualr in a way. I think it looks pretty good in person.

The interior was nice, the one I looked at had the grey/black cloth interior. The front seats felt comfortable and well bolstered. The dash and center console was very nice. This is a pleasant car inside. The back seat had enough body & legroom for my 5'10" 200# frame. I also ventured into the third row after setting the second row seats. I could sit back there at least for an hours ride. My knees weren't touching the the back of the seat and I could adjust my position. This would be perfect for kids if you have to bring along the grandparents for a ride.

I didn't have time for a test ride, so I will have to get those impressions later. I have to say all the commnets about the interior size might be overly critical. No it's not as roomy as a Pilot maybe but it's nicer inside and probalby a nicer drive. This should be a good seller for the family crowd.
