Tell them to go see Harlen at Dwyer and Sons Subaru, in Commerce TWP. He's the best. Excellent service, very knowledgeable.

Avoid Dwyers, Bad people they don't want you to give them your money. They didn't have any Info on the WRX this was march when every other Dealership had Info and Opitions. The salesman was a complete miserable unknowledgeable Person it took forever to get some help from a sales guy.

I bought mine from Hodges they treated me rite. After the miserable experience at Dwyers.

Several people have said good things about the Guys in Toledo, Ask lbk for more details on them.

I dealt with Chuck @ Hodges and couldn't be happier. I pretty much knew what I wanted and my biggest concern was paying for it. I couldn't afford a MY01 so I waited a few months and came straight back to him with no problems to place an order on a MY02. Between the dozen or so phone calls and the half dozen visits to the dealership, always on a Saturday, I probibly wasted too much of his time, but he still waited for me. Always offered up a test drive on every visit, even forced me when I had just dropped in for a few questions. I'm sure he would have let me take out a WRX for a drive... even when I had my 2.5 on order. As far as the buying experience goes... 2 thumbs up. I have heard some iffieness on their service. Someone recently had a 17" P1 damaged by a tech with an impact gun. Being a tech myself, I can really relate. There is no excuse for damaging an expensive wheel, but time is money... even so, I still try not to use an impact on any nice set of wheels. It also may have been neglected by the advisor to note on the RO not to use an impact on the wheels, but to spin them on by hand. I'm not in any position to judge, except for the fact that someone has a messed up wheel because of it. Anywho, I'm really not too concerned as I do all my own maintaince and repairs once out of warranty... all I have to make it through is my warranty period. I have also heard good things about Yark in Toledo... and bad things about Suburban and their service department.

None of the dealers in Michigan wanted to deal with me on the WRX. Livonia dealer was downright rude about it. I gave up on Michigan dealers and went to Peoria IN and picked mine up for $800 over invoice. I was very happy with my buying experience.

ditto on my purchasing experience at Hodges... but i am beginning to question their service team.. at the very least i keep a CLOSE eye on them when they're with my car... i have heard NOTHING but good reviews of Yark subaru in toledo, lbk16, damian, and a few others bought theirs there, and so far report very pleasurable service arrangements. If you go to hodges request chuck and tell him you're with the I-club... feel free to drop my name or a quick description of my car... they seem to like me there because of my rally background

I would give Tim Eltschlager a call at Yark Subaru in Toledo. By far the best purchase experience I have ever had. The service is also awesome! They come pick up my car at my office in Detroit for ANY service that is needed.
