Default Mods for the Tribeca

Are their any mods for the H6 engine? Simple ones like the higher flow air intake systems, throtle body spacers, exhaust, computer engine management and others maybe. I have searched but have not much as for mods for the H6. I was surprised at the difference on my Silverado that a throtle body spacer(http://www.airaid.com/200-514_chevy.asp) and Airaid Filer Charger(http://www.airaid.com/200-145_chevy.asp) made a good increase on the butt dyno. It would be nice to bump the hp and torque up esp. when pulling my boat or trailer loaded with ATV's.

I guess performance modifications are not a big thing compared to the rest of this board??? I figured someone has hot rodded an H6, but maybe not.

Might want to check out the Outback forum, since these are the only other Subaru to currently have the 6 cylinder.

Question How about brakes and sway bars.

I have a feeling this car will need some help with brakes or turn-in. Are the big brake kits availavle for teh Legacy/Outback applicable for the Tribeca? .

Yes, handling and braking upgrades would be wonderful. How about this, a Sti suspension and braking upgrade and while we are dreaming let's just have a Sti Tribeca with about 325hp and 350 ft/# of torque. Here, Cayenne come and get it.

I think there is a lot in store for us with the H6 motor...

I emailed Teagues - BOXER4RACING.COM, Dale responded and said that the Tribeca uses the Legacy GT Turbo brakes. The only upgrade presently is a AP or Brembo 6 pot setup. He said they are planning some mods in the near future. We will have to wait and see if there is a call for an even sportier strut & spring setup

For my use, good brakes and turn in are the most important traits for this type of car.
