Default gauge wiring install

i have a 2 greddy gauges, egt, and boost. Where is the best place to tap into the wiring harness to do the install?

Depending on where you are installing them, there should be an OEM harness under the dash for the OEM boost gauge; there's also the audio wiring harness.

To add what armand1 said:

There is a connector located somewhere under the OEM radio unit. Subaru's OEM turbo gauge unit should come with an installation manual that shows where this harness is. Subaruparts.com has a collection of installation manuals, including one for the OEM turbo gauge here:

Alternately, you can tap wires off the radio harness (see picture below as an example). Ravensblade-impreza has the pin diagram for the radio harness.

One note is that for electric gauges that share a common ground for the lighting (bulb or LED) and the gauge electronics, it may not be possible to have the gauge lighting dim/brighten along with the OEM instrument panel. This is not a problem for mechanical gauges.

I got them installed. Took abit of time to trace out all the wires.
