Default can't find link to new car break in.

my buddy just got an 05 wrx and i want him to read one of the how to break in your new car threads but i can't find them. any help?

Just tell him to read his owner's manual. There is a section in there that tells how to drive it for the break in period.

Drive under 4K rpm's for the first 1,000 miles, and varry the rpm's. I'd also stay out of max boost for long periods, don't do any panic stops, and for God's sake, DON'T dump the clutch.

That should do it .
