Jamie... you do know the best spectating at a rally is by marshalling a corner right... (nudge nudge, wink wink)

I'm definitely driving out to the rally from Albuquerque. I think a mini meet sounds like a great idea!

Prescott is a cool rally. I will be there, hopefully along with all the other Scoobie lovers. I will be working the rally also.

Jamie you are going to get to experience the joy of a couple of stages that were actually discovered by Scooby owners!!!

When are you going to be flying in?

We will be there as well. A portion of the AzScooby people are running in the RallyCross and helping with the daily activities. We are in the begining stages of organizing a meet as well around the Rally schedules.

You would fly into Phoenix then drive to Prescott. It appears that several of the hotels are booked or they have raised their prices beyond belief. I remember reading some where that the Southern Cal guys were taking over the Motel 6. I do not think we have decided where to stay yet...

Your best bet is to organize with Bill.B as he is one of the organizers of this event.

Thumbs up

Hey I will be going so if you need a ride anywhere I'll gladly be your chauffer. I have a friend that lives up there so I probably won't get a hotel but they have a pretty tiny place they may not want me there for 3 days.
Just let me know I'll be avaliable if you need any help.
Mike

I've already got two drivers in my car (me and my brother). Besides, I've been beat in my own car often enough. Can someone volunteer?

Jamie,

To answer a few of your questions:

Yes, you should fly into Phoenix. Prescott is a couple of hours drive North of the Phoenix Metro area.

I'm sure someone in the group will volunteer to pick you up at the airport and/or give you a lift to Prescott. On the other hand, rentals make care free rallycrossers (but you didn't hear that from me).

There's a list of hotels on the PFR web site as well as info on the rallycross (I think this is the link Dan ment to give you). I haven't made arrangements myself yet, so I can't give any real advice.

Also, keep an eye on the Rallycross USA site for more rally-X info. Bill is indeed THE organizer of the PFR as well as the rallycross (and our own local racing hero). There's a worker sign-up page on the PFR web site if you want to help him out.

I look forward to seeing you there.

-Bud

I had a friend rent a Neon for a pretty harsh TSD rally once. he cut the exhaust off and put racing stipes on it and before he turned it in he took off the stripes and welded the exhaust back on. hehe.. He beat the crap out of that thing... just buy the $6 insurance

Well If I am at the RallyX like I plan you can borrow my SHO for your runs if you wish. Its too far off (time and distance) for me to commit to more.
