I can see why their more popular up in your guys neck of the woods (you know SNOW ), but down here in Jacksonville Florida, I'm lucky some days to even see a Subaru, at all, much less a Baja.

I see three or four different ones in my neighborhood on a regular basis. I don't know if they reside here or just use the cross streets. But I see them enough to think they live close by.

BTW - I just saw another Subaru ad on TV last night, and guess what?...Not a picture or even a mention of the Baja as part of the Subaru line up!

I tip my hat to the Subaru marketer whose job it is to justify the death of the Baja. You are doing a great job!

There are 2 in my parking lot at work. One is mine, one is a nice blue one.

Blue is the color I wanted but alas, in a Sport stick, there was only the red and silver available.

Red was nice too, so I got that.

Anyone else here work at a major financial company in Merrimack NH?

It seems like subaru really wasnt having trouble selling them. I mean, everyone who buys one becomes a huge fan it seems, and now everyone in my school loves it like no other (donuts on the field, it's faster than about most cars there, im tryin to race my friends '89 5.0 thats really the only threat). Now, i know the numbers sold have been posted on here, but how many did subaru expect to sell? It's a niche car, so they couldnt have expected to set sales records, i feel like they just set the bar too high without doing any ads.

I seem to remember the number 25,000 per year was the goal. I could be wrong, but that number is sticking in my brain. Of course, you do have to advertise to reach the goal. They are not like rabbits and multiply.

The fans multiply though. Every person who takes a ride becomes an instant fan. Ive been approached by several people about it, and people love to borrow it (my neighbor just graduated from college and is using it today to move her stuff up to NYC *gulp* )

I commute 100 miles a day and will usually see one or two a week (North-Western NJ -> Bergen County). Today I left work and woman and her dog followed me down Route 23S in a Black/Silver NA. I'm assuming she lives in the Franklin/Sparta/Hamburg/Hardyson area.
