Default version 8 help.....please!

i am have a few questions on my jdm swap...any help would save me.

1)the top O2 sensor (right by where the dp bolts to the turbo) what plug did you plug that into? mine didnt come witha plug, it was broke off so all i have is the tree wires sitting there.
2)on the transsmisson there are two wires that go into the right side near the back. what are these for and where do they plug in?

thats all i can think of right know.

thanks for everything,
nate

1) from what I remember when installing the twinscroll setup on my old wrx, it used the connector that was once used for the factory egt in the up pipe.
2) That might be the rear diff temp sensor?

1.) Top 02 sensor has 4 wires, not 3 . Are you sure its the 02 ? What color are the wires?

2.) If its the 2 wires that go into a "white" cap into the gearbox on the right side, its the DCCD wires.

1) If you kept ur old solenoid on the right side of the engine bay, there shud be three receptacles, one is the Top O2 sensor, I wud have to look to see which one for sure, if you had old O2 sensor just sue that one, it fits.

If its a JDM V8 , the top 02 wires is at the firewall. The sensor is on the downpipe, not on the lower exhaust manifold on the right front of the engines like the others.

okay i dont have it figured out. i started it but it ran like crap....pretty sure it is that top o2 sensor. like i said before it does not have a plug (got broke off or something. the sensor does have 4 wires. it has 2 blacks 1 blue and 1 white.since it has no plug i was wondering if anyone could tell me what colors of wires match up on the harness side and the sensor side. thanks for everything.....you guys are great.

I'm not sure what was plugged into the harness previously, but I know it's not the uppipe probe because the resistor I put in is still in place. My guess is its the plug that the sensor in the header went to.

Not so good pic, but here is the way it wires up...

Harness Sensor
--------- ----------
Yellow+Red ----> Black
White(top) ----> White
White(bottom) ----> White(bottom)
Black ----> Blue

thanks a lot. i found out my problem was not a o2 sensor (it will help however). we were checking the compression when we pulled the #2 sparkplug about a cup of coolant cam pouring out....head gasket. no one buy any motors from sunrise JDM, they rip you off and lie to you. there motors are said (according to thier web site) to be leak tested and compression tested..........i think they are full of crap. but thanks for the pic.....that is exactlly what i need. does anyone know if the V8 takes the same head gasket as a usdm ej20?? if not where can i get a JDM head gasket??
