Default pricing?

ok before anyone goes and start yelling "use the search button!!!!! " i searched and got crap and went up to page 15 and found nothing.

im just rolling ideas around in my head but i was wonder like what parts are all needed for a v7/v8 swap. and the prices for all the parts (roughly of course).
i also i was reading (not sure where the post is anymore) but is sounded like someone jsut got the block and kepth the usdm heads.. is taht possible?? i know hardly anything about motors and such.
But main point is that im going to be keeping my WRX for about the next 5 years and i know i will be doing mods. and from what i have read so far it seems like jdm is the way to go other than going stage 4 and comeing to a dead end..
and links to good information about engine swaps would be nice too! thanks

full jdm v8 swap including motor, trans, ecu, rear, driveshaft, and all 4 brembos will be around 12k or more depending on mileage and condition. that is what a reputable vendor told me.

Yea the ones that sold for $8500 were in bad shape with several missing or broken parts. Look in the vendor review forums and look for Soon2Bgreat as the poster it cost him over $1000 to get everything fixed with his swap, its a thread about JD Motors. Those are the parts that i am getting, should be about it, i know theres a few other misc parts i will need to get also.
