WTB: K&N or equivalent flat filter PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

twice, from two different sources, I have ordered a flat filter for my 1999 Impreza outback sport 2.2L and each time I get sent a filter for a WRX. I do not have a WRX. The filter for the WRX is about 1/3rd smaller than the one for the OBS.

Can someone....ANYONE....>>PLEASE<< hook me up with the correct filter? If you DO have one...please for gods sake PM me. I will probably ask if you can physically put your hands on the filter and look at it. Possibly even measure the dimensions. If not I'll trust you if you say you KNOW this will fit.

Keep in mind...the airbox on the OBS is in the same place the intercooler would be in a WRX. it is NOT mounted on the side...it sits directly behind the motor itself.

I'm at my wits end here. I dont know if its incompetance or confusion but ordering a simple AIR FILTER shouldnt be this hard

You need k&n part # 33-2154 (looooooooong filter)

google for it maybe? (we dont sell them or i would help!)

You sure about that part number? I think that's for the 2000-2001 2.5L engine? They list that part # on the K&N website for the 2000 2.5L. But they also list it for the 2.2L in 1999, along with part # 33-2232 which I believe should be the correct one.
