Hello,
Just picked up a 05 Saab 9-2x Aero (turbo) 5 spd. last night.
I want to lower it aprox 1 inch and not be too stiff...These "pinks" seem like the perfect fit.
Will they fit on my Saab?
Also, what would the total inc. shipping to 91107 be?
Finally, would the alignment need to be done?.....What would the correct specs be??
Thanks,
Scott

Yes the Wagon pinks will fit your Saab just fine.

springs are $225
shipping depends on location.
$18-22 is average.

Alignment is a good idea, specs depend on how you drive and how you want the car setup. any competent alignment tech can sort you out.

again, these are for the 2004/2005 models.
you can fit them to the 2003 / 2002 but you will need to also purchase
rear 2004 top hats to fit them properly

subaru indicates drop at 15mm or .67 of an Inch
According to my customers, car has dropped approx 1" or so
Ride is nice and smooth, flat, not bouncy.

the site has the sti strut/spring together for the 2002-2003 impreza for $1100 approx. just the v8 sti struts would be 1200 approx for all four. is this because they are the newer version and all i want/need are the struts i have springs that i will be installing with them whenever i get them.

ohhhhhhhh i see what you're on about.

subaru does not sell "just the struts' APART from those springs.

the kit is all one unit - you order one strut, you get the spring with it.
subaru does not sell "just" the strut or "just" the spring from that kit
They are bundled as one

yeah i didn't think they would sell just the strut as i have seen it everywhere with the spring together, just thought i would try. i am really looking for some takeoffs from someone that didn't put too many miles on them. but if i can't find some used ones i might just have to buy the package and then try to sell the sti springs as my only option for struts right now are the sti v8 ones because none of the aftermarket vendors struts are out of r&d and for sale yet since the change of the top of the strut i believe

yeah i think that's a bad move on Subaru's part...
they should have made them available separately.

well... let me know if we can assist...

can you help me with something? i just received some sti strut takeoffs and i was told they are the v8 ones but i don't know how to verify that they are now that they are here at my house. there are some numbers that i can barely see, they are red, it says subaru on them and then a circle next to that with something in it, kinda looks like a 7 but not sure. please help.

part numbers may be on them eric.

if you can read the pnumbers (usually towards the bottom of the struts)
i can run them in the system and tell you what you've got there.
