I'm at 140 000km, and the clutch is still very good. Did you have your clutch replaced for the clutch shudder? I didn't.

Approaching 60k with no problems so far. Never had the clutch shudder issue either. Probably about 15 runs down at the drag strip.

Just over 90k and no real problems so far, although every once in a while it grinds for no good reason. Must be user error...

Don't know about the WRX but my 95 Legacy has 275,000 km on the original clutch.

I should also say that our 94 impreza L had over 350 000km on the stock clutch. It had been driven hard too.

I'm pushing about 45k on my second WRX clutch.
I was afraid that it was on it's last legs at a drag event yesterday, but I got 10 5000+ rpm launches out of it with no protesting. I was going to swap it out next week for a new fw/clutch combo, but now I'm thinking I don't have to.

These cars are truly built like tanks.

120,000km when I had my clutch replaced.... more than 15 launches and a few track days... I was at stage2 for 40,000kms

btw if you need new clutch, ask the dealership if they carry SOC's clutch or the Exedy clutch. The real stockers that came with the car originalli is Exedy KSB-03 with daikin pressure plate.

SOC decided to save money and remanufactures clutches. SOC's clutch wont last very long, esp when you're making more power than stock

so your saying ask for the Exedy clutch???

I dont like the new clutch they put in my car. You have to be at the right rpm when you go, if your to slow you'll stall it, if you rev to much it feels like it grabs to much then poof it all of a sudden lets go.....it feels weird.

did you get it changed at the dealership? it might be the remanufactured clutch. Ask the part number, if its not KSB-03 its SOC's clutch, and its not a good clutch..

my friend came back to the dealer after 20,000kms... the clutch slipped all the time after 20,000kms

Have 100K on the stock clutch and no problems. Had the clutch shudder at the beginning but then it went away.
