well i just got my head lights in from allsubaru.com and whne i tried to test fit they wouldnt go on. i need all the help you guys good give.

the conor of the headlight will not fit between the bumper and the fender itself. it seem's like the new headlights are to big to fit the head lites spot now.

They should fit fine. I installed a set in my friends 1998 2.5 GT will no problems.

is there any difference between liek a 96 pair cause on my bill it says 97-99 but if they sent the wrong pair i wouldnt know.

I think the only difference is the wiring.

They should fit. mine have a simular problem but will go in. just slowly work them in and make sure your not hitting anything.

you might be having probelms where your side light use to snap in.

I just installed a set last weekend. On the outside of each light is a little pole that sides into a round hole in the frame of the car. I had to look to make sure I had the pole lined up with the hole. Before I could get the lights to fit.

Also, make sure you take off the black clip on the top of the bumper, (one ond each side) it helped hold down the little plastic spacers between the OEM lights and the grill area.
