"Handful" implies an unquantified value. It is an imaginary figure and should not be used with the term "literally" unless they "literally" could fit in her hand (eg - Lego people).
I don't know, I always think of handfull as 5, just as a couple is 2 and a few is 3 or more. I think she's good to go here.

Or... it could be that her grasp of the English language is limited, and there's a really good reason she goes through life with the "deer in the headlights" glazed over look in her eyes.

I read an amusing quote from Mrs. Bush a few days ago relating to the notification of GW about the errant Cessna 150. From CNN, '"I think he should have been interrupted," Mrs. Bush declared, hastening to add, "but I'm not going to second-guess the Secret Service that were with him."'

She says she won't second-guess them except she does EXACTLY that!

I'd rather see a woman use the word "literally" incorrectly than to see an insecure woman that knows that her husband porks and gets blown by other woman. Then she does absolutely nothing to defend herself from being humiliated in front of billions of people across the globe.

Websters defines "pathetic justification" as...

That "insecure" woman is a lawyer and senator. But if you want to mock questionable social behavior, the Bush twins or daddy the crack head are good places to start...

No, it figurative sucks really bad. People often misuse "literally" to mean "to an extreme." If it literally sucked, I'd have my penis in the disk drive.

At this point it probably is just to make sure it really isn't literal.

Scientific research concludes that it is, sadly, only figuratively sucking.
