Glare/Reflections off of center pod mounted gauges
I recently installed Defi BF gauges in the center triple pod mount, and I find they are difficult to read during the day because of the reflection/glare from light coming through my rear window.
I would like to eliminate that reflection. I can think of a few options: 1. Tint rear window and rear side windows. Not a big fan of this idea. 2. Coat gauge face cover (the clear plastic lens) with anti-glare coating. Does such a product exist? Would it make a difference? 3. Remove gauge face covers. Replace with single piece of plasic custom cut to fit on an angle to eliminate reflections. The idea would be to mimic the setup of the regular cluster. Big PITA, but may look good in the end. Has anyone removed the gauge face covers on Defi BFs? They look to be one piece (the grey ring and clear lens together). I would just want the ring separate. Anyone else bugged by this problem? What did you do about it? Any other ideas? I searched. . .but didn't find anything useful. Seth
