Default paint warrantee question

so I have this bit of paint on my rear fender that seems to have developed a crack. It is way up on the "shoulder" under the wing. I noticed that the paint further back on the car is bubbling up. There is no "chip" that could have started what I believe is rust underneath.

I am going to take it in tomorrow, but just wondering if anyone has experience with this. Is this covered under warrantee? I think that it is faulty workmanship.

Sounds like warranty to me. It does happen. It's not faulty workmanship, unless the robot sprayer had a bad day More likely the chemicals were a bit off by the time they were shot onto your car.

nope, it turns out something in my trunk pushed the fender out. I can't think of what.

Anyway, anybody get paint wear on their bumper where the trunk corners meet it? where the WRX is on the left and where the key hole is on the right? Those corners seem to hit the bumper when you close it.

I've heard trunk fitment problems from a few people now, mine is rubbing on either side of the trunk, above the tail lights. I haven't brought it up with the dealership......yet. But I would like to see how this turns out for you, then maybe I will get off my ass and try and get it fixed.
