Boost gauge question...
My newly installed boost gauge is reading 20 - 30 vacuum at idle.. and some when driving (not boosting) Then it reads normal boost when boosting... I thought it was supposed to show 0 all the time. Anyway let me know what I did wrong with the install pleeeease

Yup - when coasting along, or very low throttle, you'll see vacuum.
If someone had a boost gauge capable of reading vacuum that read 0 at idle, its hooked up wrong. |

if anything check for kinks in the line, but I think you are fine.
I have two boost gauges in the car, the analog one is a little too sensitive and the digital one a tad delayed...but it has a peak hold reading which makes it the more useful of the two. RR |

Use teflon tape on the guage's threads and make sure there are no leaks anywhere.

I got it, I just needed to splice into a diff. wire, got the correct voltage and whatnot too. Thanks for the concern!
