Subaru Stars Battery Relocation Kit for Subbies ??

I've really been wanting to do this for a super long time but have never heard of anyone else doing it.

I want to mount it either behind the passanger seat or idealy in the trunk on the passanger side up against the rear fender a little bit behind the rear wheel

Only kits i have found are on summit racing and i would rather find a suby specific kit

let me know
thanks

I don't think these exist (but I could be wrong). It really isn't too terribly hard to fab one up though.

You could get an Optima (or any other sealed battery) and mount it anywhere you like.

I agree with the comment about sealed batteries. Don't use anything else in the passenger compartment. The thought of being sprayed with acid in an accident isn't nice.
Also on the subject of accidents, make sure you fasten it down well. Decellerations of 15g+ are not unknown and a battery is a heavy item to whack any part of you. They will always find the tenderest bits to hit as well.
Why move it at all?

...the way I have mine mounted under the passengers seat, the only way it is coming out is if the car is ripped in half.....that is one of the reasons I picked the battery I did(Odyssey PC680MJ) and where I put it

Kits are available, just not car specific. It is easier to mass produce one than than to make hundereds for all the different vehicles. Besides the differences would really be negledgeable.

If you want custom, go to some custom car stereo shops and ask around, or go to some sound off competitions to get ideas. Most people just get the generic kits and make them their own.

good luck...
