Default '95 Impreza L AWD wagon part out

Parting out our 1995 Impreza L wagon AWD MT 1.8L. 194,000 miles, predominantly highway. I am the second owner. The first was a prison chaplin who put on 148K miles by 7/2000 when I purchased it. It has been driven by my daughter and most recently my son who is in an auto tech program. He ran into the back of a pickup with it and we decided it was not worth doing all the body work, etc. The car would have also needed a rear cat to pass CT emissons (someone gutted the old one...) as well as a windshield (crack from stone) and a steering rack that leaked and would need to be replaced at some point.

I'd like to sell off as much as possible and then will have the hulk removed from my driveway. We will be removing the KYB struts for ourselves. Everything else goes. Options that are installed include cruise control, and an aftermarket alarm system, Prestige model APS-250-A. I also no longer need the Thule rack feet made for the factory roof rack. I used these with Thule cross bars.

PM me or write back in this thread.

7/9/05 update:

Sold so far;
Dash, glove box, center column, visors, ebrake and console, coil pack, cam and crank sensor, ECU and inside firewall harness, fuel flap and cable, timing belt covers, power steering pulley, master cylinder and brake booster, front passenger power window motor.

Much still remains. I can't have this car in my driveway forever so we will be stripping it down to useful pieces, panels, etc. soon and then getting rid of the shell. Prior to junking it, we will be pulling the struts and will have Eibach Prokit springs available as well, maybe some other suspension components that people have expressed interest in along the way. The engine and tranny are still available for local pickup only.

Located in NW Connecticut.

What colour is your interior?

I'd be interested in the glove box w/mounting brackets and maybe a front passenger door panel if it has power windows... depending on the interior colour that is.

OK. I can see there is interest in this car. It is red, the front end tap took out both headlights and turn signals as well as buckling the hood. No air bags went off though It went under the bumper of a pickup at under 10 mph. The interior is grey. I'll take pictures and get back to all who are interested.

Int the meantime, there are some pics we took at the body shop here:

http://photos.yahoo.com/dougusenet under 1995 impreza wreck

There is a roof rack that has horizontal cross members attached to front/rear mounted roof rails.

The rails you aqre looking for are overseas rails... No old school wagons came with front to back rails on this side of the water. Good luck...

Well maybe they put the wrong rails on when they made the car in Japan because from my research those rails are only available overseas....

Hey, I need a rear door latch trim/bezel, driver's side. Maybe you can send it with Billy's glovebox and Billy and I can work out something. PM me with how much you want for it.

off-topic: the longitudinal roof rails did appear on a limited number of N.A. wagons, but no one has successfully found the part # or been able to order them for SOA. I got mine from Japan at huge cost. They are slick. Make sure you get the rubber mounting gaskets and the covers for the bolts.

Unfortunately, Billy's glovebox went with the dash today to a local who came and dismantled them himself. The good news is I still have the door panel for Billy and the trim/bezel for you. New pics got posted of these today at http://photos.yahoo.com/dougusenet under 1995 Subaru Impreza..

Are you in Canada? No shipping issues if these are sent to you?

Doug

Hey Doug. I'm now thinking of a full NADM WRX interior at some point in my 97... and so I'll pass on the door panel. Was really hoping to get that glovebox but that's life.

Steering wheel and central airbag/horn buttons? This car is equipped wih cruise control and I'd like to sell that separately. The cruise control operating lever comes out of the right side of the steering wheel through an opening in a plastic cover and without the lever. There will be a void apparent.
