Post ok.. enough... Wisconsin subie owners meet!

Alright, now that Wisconsin is up in the number of memebers; we need a meet. This is just to see how many new WI memebers we have picked up in the past year. So who's up for it? I'm thinking we could meet in Milwaukee since that is a good center point for most of us. Including the chi-town guys *hint* *hint* We could meet on a sunday and all go to an SCCA auto-x. I'm not sure the dates for the milwaukee auto-x region, but i'll look into it. i gotta go to class. lets see this we can actually get a nice meet going...thoughts? opinions?

Cool

I'm up for it, as soon as I get my car. The dealer keeps telling me that it will be in soon. I'm really getting annoyed.
I live downtown Milwaukee, across from the post office on 3rd and St. Paul - there is a parking lot right here and it is empty on Sunday's (Post Office is closed). Maybe we can all meet here before going to an Auto-X, just an idea.

Any of you guys in western Wisconsin could swing on over to our rallycross in Cannon City, MN. It's very close to the line. There's always 5-10 Subarus out there and 4-7 RS's. Here's some info: http://www.maitreg.com/cars/impreza/rallycross

T-Wrex, I do know where faro's is. As for going to the Rallycross next weekend, I am seriously considering going. Have my route all mapped out with a return trip through what looks like some interesting roads around the river and thru the hill country of western WI. I would most likely go there and back on the same (long) day. Est. travel time from FdL is bout 4-4.5 hrs. Shortest way there for me is to go thru LaCrosse on the "I" road get it? I will know for sure by Monday.

As for a WI meet, throw out some dates people, and lets narrow some down. An autoX would be the most fun choice.

Ok 1:00 Sunday April 29th at the parking lot on the North East corner of 3rd and St. Paul in Downtown Milwaukee. I live right there - we can go inside if it's crappy or anything.
PM me if you need directions - see you next weekend.

Ok, well here is my thought:

Major meet on the 27th of may. i will gladly host at my folks house in brookfield wi, just outside of milwuakee. we have ample parking space, large driveway, and lots of street parking, and a big yard, and lots of room inside. there is an wia event on may 28th, anyone who wants too is more than welcome to crash over night and go the auto-x the next morning. the event will be at milwuakee co stadium. the meet will be sunday, and the auto x will be on memorial day monday.

we can meet over the course of the after noon, watch some videos, grill, play some vid games maybee do a little cruising, and talk some subies. please let me know what peolple think of this date.

this is an easy drive from lmost everywhere.

Just so everyone knows, don't feel obligated to come to one and not the other, or both. I was just planning a get together so everyone can finally meet.
Also if anyone knows people just into cars, not just Subaru's, tell them to come.
Hopefully it will be a nice day! Hope to see you guys/girls!
