Default Baja Questions

Can anyone help me find info on this?

What is the Baja gas milage like?

Whats the Baja ground Clearance?

What is the largest tire you can put on a Baja?

We are looking for a good ground surveying vehicle.
It will do allot of curb crawling.
Gas milage is important as well.
Thanks for any help you can be.
Scott

i get about 20 city to 25 highway MPG with reg. gas on my 03;
the ground clearance on 05 is about 8.8 in;
and the biggest tire for the baja that i read is a 215/70R16 but just the OD is bigger its not wider.
i paid 15995 before TTL for my Baja but it was used with 23000+ miles on it

I think my cost was $22,800 or there abouts plus taxes for my '05 Turbo 5spd, rubber mats, homelink mirror and bed extender.

- 24mpg on long highway drives
- 19-21mpg on my work commutes (mix of stop & go and highway)

I just paid 22,140 for an 05 Turbo with mats and drove it home from VA this weekend. It was one of the 2 white turbo manual models I could find in NC or VA.

Shoulds talked them down to 22 I guess...
