Need local help/advise re. air filter & stalling problem

Sorry this is a bit of a re-post (from service and maintenace) but....

I changed the stock air filter on my 98 Impreza 2.2 wagon today and the thing now stalls at low rpm. I vacuumed out the airbox at the same time, and I am worried that I messed up the Mass Air Flow Sesnsor (I think I have a MAF vs MAS/MAP). Anytime I let off the gas and the revs drop below say 2000 or so, the car sputters like its out of gas and dies. The exhaust smells gassy/rich which points to air/fuel ratio. Any Ideas, and what should I do to check and fix? Can a MAF be fixed etc. If there is any local Island boys who can help out... thats a case of beer for you

check to make sure you didn't accidently pull off any vaccuum line

You nailed it!! Found a sneaky hidden vac hose that had come off. Let me know if you are on the Island soon.... or I'll pm you if I'm coming over. IOU a brew!
