Default Best Dealership?

I'm planning on buying a new 05 or 06 STI around 6 months from now, and I'm wondering which dealership is the best in Western Canada (BC, Alberta) in terms of sales and service. I'd prefer to buy from a dealership that outsells most others in hopes of getting a better price. I'm also wondering if anyone got close to invoice when they bought theirs. Any advice would really be appreciated.

Good luck on getting a "better" price on an STi.

Besides, its more likely that a small dealerhship will be more desperate to make a sale than a big one that has cars flying out the door every day.

FYI there are no "volume discounts" to dealerships. The only difference is if they own their inventory or have it all mortgaged.

I just met a couple good guys, one from Rally Subaru and one from Kelowna Subaru, Tony. Sorry forgot the rally subaru guys name. They came by the shop on their way to Whistler. Great to meet both of them and both good guys. Not knowing anything else my first recommendation would have to go to Rally for Albertans.

I talked the Richmond dealer down to $46g today from $48,995, then walked away from the deal for other reasons. Bottom line is that these cars aren't selling as fast as they would like you to think they are. There's 2 WRB 05' STi's for sale in Langley, and 2 for sale in Richmond, and they've been sitting for months now.

It's a great time to buy an STi right now.

Hypes....what's the "other reason"?
Are you still tihnking of trading the wagoneer for a used sedan?
What about for a used STi? Black...

Subaru Calgary is good, and contrary to popular belief you can make a deal with them. Also it is better to buy in Alberta because we don't have a PST to pay, unless you buy used in which case you don't have PST to pay there either.

They even have a used 05, http://showrooms.canadatrader.com/sh...31&Pagecount=3

just don't ask them to modify a car for you, beyond tinting, they will say no!

It's definitely going to be brand new off the lot, no exceptions. At this point, all I know is that I am getting the car for sure when the time comes (december).

There are a few things I'd like put in when I get it. A short throw shifter, and a carbon fiber interior kit (which I'm not even sure if they make a factory kit for the STi). I'm hoping the dealership I buy from has these parts, and can install them.... otherwise I think I have to factory order the car and pay MSRP for sure + parts and installation? Hopefully someone can correct me on this.

Hands down Rally Subaru. From alot of other dealers I have dealt with (GM, dodge, vw) they are the best by far.
