Exclamation need new shocks...for 05 WRX

I know how the 04/05 strut and shock are redesigned (inverted I think), and I just lowered my car today with Prodrive WRX springs. When we took out the rear left strut, the shock tube kept falling back down, indicating its blown right?

What shock would match on the Prodrive springs? I know i could get OEM shocks, but I was wondering if JDM version 7 or 8 would fit/match on the spring? Also somewhere on this forum I read the Tokico D-Spec fits also?

Any advice would be much appreciated before uneven tire wear sets in.

I would assume that a dealer would replace a strut that crapped out so soon under warranty...if you didn't install the springs. Someonce once told me that the Prodrive springs match perfectly with the stock struts, however, with the new '05 struts, it might be a different story. Someone should correct me if I'm wrong.
