Default I was bored today....

...so I went out and got a wiring harness and single DIN CD holder and put in my old Eclipse headunit. I had to use a Dremel on my wood trim to make it sit flush but it turned out pretty good. Everything sounds good too. I have to find out if there is a way to hook up the factory 6-disc to this headunit though. Anyway, here's a pic. Sorry no resize.

And a random pic of a B9 Tribeca that I saw on my bike ride the other day. Not sure what was going on but there was a line of 15 Foresters with a Tribeca in front and one in the back at Valley Forge Nat'l Park. I gotta say though, sweet looking car in person and it sounded nice too. Sorry for the pic quality, I was trying to steer my bike with one hand and snap the pic with the other.

I was bored today and purchased a Kartboy SS. What a difference it makes.

Has your CD changer always been on the bottom? Mine is in the middle. I am dying for a 3 din unit with nav and all that crap to stick in ll that space beow the climate controls.

Interesting that you had to dremel...my pioneer fit in perfectly flush without any dremeling...looks good though!

As for the changer...I doubt you'll be able to interface with it.

flanders- ya, the kartboy does make a world of difference. and ya, my changer has always been on the bottom.

fibuz- the dremel was used to make the middle pocket fit, not the headunit. it was about 1/4 inch to wide on each side and wouldn't allow for the wood trim to snap back in place.

Nice job!
A dremel tool in the hands of a bored man can be a dangerous thing.

negative. My headunit has a CD changer control that you have to use the AUX input for. However, there is only one harness coming out of the changer that has no chance of connecting without some serious modification.
