Default Brand new OEM underseat Subwoofer/amp 120w

I just got my 05 sti yesterday and it came with the 120W subwoofer/amp under the seat. After driving 100 miles with it, i've determined id rather just use the sub that I took out of the accord I traded in.

It's brand new, comes with the bracket to keep it under the seat. I will also cut the plug with a few inches of wire so you can wire it up to your HU. I will be using the plug end that goes into the stock HU

PM me or email me at ktantiwong@gmail

Once again, its brand new,if already unplugged it to keep it in that condition, sticker price on it was $273. Give me a fair price and its yours.

I'll accept paypal. Im in socal for today and tommorrow if you want to pick it up or ill be driving up to the bay area after that.

Just a hint for you here, do NOT cut the harness. Remove it completely. It's a bridging harness that connects between the factory HU plug and the HU, once removed the original plug just goes back into the HU. If you cut the harness you are doing any potential buyer a disservice because they will need a replacement harness which is about $100 from Subaru.

thanks for the heads up. Is there another harness available to wire an aftermarket amp to the OEM HU? I was hoping to just use the wires there and put them into the line-ins of the amp for a quick easy install

So I'll need to remove the whole HU and tear up the center console to remove the entire wiring harness?

You can find info on installing aftermarket equipment in the Car Stereo forum, not going to get into a technical discussion here in the classifieds. You will have to remove the HU and probably part of the console, shouldn't be too difficult.

ill have to think about that one. The sub/amp is pretty useless without the harness from what ive read since the harness alone is quite pricy
