Default CF sidemarkers installation question

I got the CF STI style sidemarkers, they came with a 3M tape on the back. Is that the way to install them, jus tape on the OEM markers?
It looks funny since they are thick and when they are taped they "stick" out.
Any ideas?

When you take your stock orange markers out, there will be an indented area where they sat. This makes the CF markers sit pretty flush w/ the fender. And yes...all that holds them to the car is that super strong 3M tape. I suggest cleaning the area, then using a little rubbing alcohol to strip the area of any wax(will not harm paint). This way, the 3M tape will hold real well. Make sure you get it straight the first time because once stuck, it's a paint to take off. Good luck!

Oh yeah, If you havent figured it out by my first post, you do have to take off the orange markers and tape off the lighting harnesses in the engine bay somewhere.
