Default air splitter

ok guys, i have a 01 rs, and im gonna be doing a ej20 swap soon, im gonna need a air splitter for my hood scoop, will a 2004 wrx splitter work? and what about the rubber (seal) that goes around the scoop. anyone have any comments about it? thanks, kyle

The wrx splitter does not fit on the GC8's. I have the same setup and it doesnt fit. I thought about taking the stock plate from the RS, and cutting out the middle section and basically building a splitter. But i'm too lazy and the hood scoop does a relatively good job on keeping air going to the I/C, i've noticed so far.

I have also thought about just making a plate mounted to the underside of the scoop to direct the airflow from going behind/past the I/C.
