Question Paradise by the (burned out) dashboard lights

Can anyone help me here? My '01 Leg's dashboard light burned out, the one that lights up the gas gage, is this something that I can replace or do I have to get rapped at the stealership and have them do it. Are there any instructions online?
TIA,
Tim

did all the lights burn out, or just one? Might wanna check fuses if more than one went at the same time...

as for changing bulbs, you need to disassemble practically the entire dash. Its pretty straight forward and only requires a screwdriver:

Take off shifter surround(pops off).
Unscrew 2 screws holding tray in.
Unscrew 2 screws where ashtray is connected(hard to see/access)
removel center console(pops off)
Remove switch plastic(left of steering colum), pops off.
Then 2 screws above cluster and i believe 2 below where you popped off platic.
take a/c vent/cluster shroad off, disconnect hazard wiring, remove entire piece.
Then theres 6 or so screws holding the cluster on, remove them.
Remove 3 harness', and the cluster is out and you can change bulbs.

Pretty straightforward, but takes a little creative shifting of plastic pieces to get things off with the steering column there. You'll figure it out.

Try a search for HVAC lights or check out ScoobyMods, I know they have detailed instructions with pictures. It's easy to DIY.

Thanks for the info, it is only 1 light, the left hand one, I can still see the speed - tach gages, so I am guessing it is the bulb and not a fuse.
Looks like I will have a good weekend project.
'Nuther dumb question. The replacement light...is it something I can pick up at a auto parts store or do I have to go to a Scooby dealer to get the light?

Thanks again,
Tim

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm speaking from a BD knowledge base, but the bulbs can be bought at most auto parts stores or Radioshack. the dealer should stock them as well.
