Default PSI3 SECS water spray electrical gremlin

I've the PSI3 SECS installed and am attempting to use the water injection function for IC water spray. The problem I am having is that when the boost condition is met, the water will spray. However, when the condition has ceased and the pump shuts off, the SECS resets (turns off and boots up again).

We've narrowed down the problem to be something with how the setup works with the pump (I installed the wagon washer pump to be used as windshield wiper washer and am using the primary windshield washer pump to spray with). We took the wiring to the pump and hooked it up to a Piezo (buzzer thing) and everything worked just fine, no resets.

My friend and I are stumped. If anyone has run into this before or has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

may sound stupid, but your useing a realy to turn on the pump right? If not the sec's is probley restarting due to a power dip from turning the pump on. Thats all i can think of since the speaker will use less amps then a pump.

Correct, signal wires from the SECS run to a relay which turns on the pump. I downloaded the PDF that shows how to wire in the external connections and followed that wiring diagram. The only change that I made was to install the JDM Water Spray switch to "arm" the sprayer as I did not the spray on all the time. My friend and I ruled out the switch as being the problem last night by removing it from the equation and hooking up the wires from the SECS to the relay instead of the power wire running through the switch.
