no, the 04 has a 5x100 bolt pattern whereas the 05 has the 5x114.3 bolt pattern

Thank you for the information. I noticed a previous post describing the 04 and 05 wheels right after posting the question.

For anyone's information there is an ad on ebay for 4 2005 stock gold wheels with very low mileage stock tires for $999:

[sorry, can't post a url yet, but just do an ebay search on STi tires and you will find the ad.]
