Default So when is the new Impreza design going to be used in WRC?

So when is the new Impreza design going to be used in WRC?
Are they going to bring over the new design this year or next? Will they use a completly new Wrc car next year because of the new rules?

Probably the year that it comes into production for Europe and Japan.

Only thing is, that the STi gets a 2.5L which is against WRC/ Gr. N regulations.

Yes, but even our US STI now gets a 2.5, whereas the rest of the world gets 2.0. I'm guessing that will likely stay the same.

Well, it's been said that the rules for WRC are going to change soon, so who knows, they might up the displacement regulations to 2.5-liter.... Even if they don't up it, you only have to have a 2.0-liter car to compete, the consumer end of the product doesn't have to follow those rules.... Besides, the only manufacturers that produce cars that are close to their rally versions are Mitsubishi and Subaru, no one else makes turbo/AWD versions of their cars..... Hmmm, a turbo/AWD Focus ??? God no.... Haha

And even the Focus has 2.5l now (Europe)...the Volvo 2.5 I5 basically,so this gives further ammo to the belief they will bump the displacement limit.
