Default '05 STi door card cloth: how to keep clean?

As much as I love my STi, I have to say the choice of fabric material used in the '05 STi door cards is beyond me. Any of you clean freaks or detailers, can you recommend a good way to keep them clean?

Thanks

Mine have remained clean for a year now by......

........Never touching them.

Other than that, I've got no idea.

I know, I know... But the whole reason that was my solution is because I have never come across a surefire way of cleaning them without damaging the fabric. I wish I could do the same for the seats, but of course that won't work. I read up on the cleaning procedure recommended for the seat fabric, and it basically says "use water, carefully."
