Default since PRO TUNER IS NOW OUT, where are the locations of pro tuners?

now the officail version of PRO TUNER (cobb stuff) is released, where are all the pro tuners?

i am lucky there is jorge in chicago, but many cobb users need to know in their area so they can take advantage or improve their current stage 2.

thanks

I was about to ask the same question. I am in San Jose and don't really want to drive down to LA or up to Santa Rosa if I don't have to.

I thought they were going to list Pro-Tuner names at http://www.accessecu.com/dealers.html. Maybe they forgot about that site.

Technically, this is pre-release.

Department of Corrections

A ProTUNER is currently in beta testing. It has not been released officially.

B ProTUNER is an AccessECU product. Although the technology was developed at COBB, AccessECU is a separate entity. AccessECU will be working with other cars that the technology is applicable to. COBB is a Subaru tuning company. There will be ProTUNERs who have nothing to do with COBB. There will be ABC or XYZ Tuning AccessPORTs roaming about for Subarus as well as other cars in the future.

There is Gruppe-S and Ed from Eq tuning. You might want to give them a call.

FIS currently has the beta of the Protuner. I heard that there was a rewrite of the Protuner to make it work better.

Actually, from the "horse's mouth";

ProTUNER is out of "beta" and is in a Pre-Release state. There are a few tuners, like Jorge, who have opted to purchase the software as a Pre-Release.

What Pre-Release means is that the software is fully functional and stable. However, we still have a bit more work to do with regards to documentation, integrated help system, and a few other "convenience" features.

The current beta testers are all on the latest build, which is virtually a Pre-Release version without the unique Vendor ID in the maps (ie: works all the same so far as the end-user is concerned). The beta testers can step up to the Pre-Release if they wish, but we're not adding any *new* tuners to the list until we finish the documentation, etc.

The actual release will be in a few weeks. I'm actually in the process of updating webpages and so on as we speak. We will make FULL DISCLOSURE as to who has the ProTUNER. It would only make sense for us to do so, right?

And as Josh mentioned, ProTUNER is an AccessECU product. The COBB-specific employees (like Josh) haven't been kept as much in the loop as they likely should have during this ackward "Pre-Release". Sorry about the confusion!

Thanks,
Trey @ COBB & AccessECU
