Default Auto climate control: plug & play?

I found a couple salvage LL Bean Outbacks with the auto climate control unit. I am wondering if they will simply plug-in to the existing wiring harness in the 00-04/05 Legacy/Baja that have the manual controls. Any items other than the dash unit required? I noticed there was a black corragated tube coming out of the driver's side of the unit (possibly additional wiring) and one harness plug on the back.

Anyone experimented?

I've attempted this project...not worth it.

It is NOT simply plug and play because auto-hvac uses motors/sensors and the manual does not.

On to another project

Thanks - I saw your previous thread but not a definite answer.

Next project for me is a boost gauge in one of the center vents. I grabbed a unit out of the one LL Bean Outback to experiment before messing with the one in my Baja.
