Default Reattaching clock ?'s (keyless entry no longer works . . . )

Hello -

Today I removed a gauge pod and gauges that were in the factory location. For power/wiring I had originally clipped off the clock's wiring harness and attached the gauges there. To reinstall the clock I was planning to just rewire the wires to their corresponding colors on the harness, but this didn't seem to work (no power to clock/dash lights). I then tried a few combinations of attaching wires to each other and was able to get the clock to work, but now the keyless entry/alarm doesn't work.

Does anyone have suggestions as to what I could do to fix this? I thought I would ask all of you before I frustrate myself more.

Thanks in advance,
Robert

More details i forgot to include last night . . . yesterday i also uninstalled an aftermarket cd player and an amp (which involved disconnecting the amp from the + battery terminal). Could this have affected the keyless entry/alarm?

YES is very well could have. Iv found that one fuse is wired to several devices. the factory alarm is also wired to the stock clock. The aux 12v power supply next to the ash tray shares the same fuse as the power windows. Look under the steering wheel there is a pull out tray. pull it out to open it up. then pull some more to pull it off. behind it is a fuse box. You could also check the alarm box itself. if you have the arm rest extenson open it up and pull off the panel that covers the e brake. there should be a box there its the alarm check the wires. my plug has a tendency to come out.

hope this helps
