Talking Header wrap installation write up?

Ok I know this has been discussed before about the pro's and con's about wrapping your borla headers and I've decided I will wrap mine to prevent the CEL. I live in a climate where there isn't any snow nor do I go into snow areas...just occasional rain and alot of sunny days. I really don't care if the headers do crack themselves or what not from the header wrap since I wont have an issue due to moisture...plus...I'm getting the borla headers for $25 and theyre good hehe so anyways...I did a search on here and scooby mods and was trying to lookup a header wrap install write up or something but no luck.....I do know you MUST wear gloves, have the wrap of course, use the lock ties, high temp paint as well, and you have to soak them a little...but how do i soak them? just hose them down a bit or what? i also know that once its wrapped and i spray it the headers should be allowed to dry overnight....anything else I'm missing? Thanks

I think you got mostof it, Im betting your wrap will come with some instructions since technically your handling a haz mat. Soak means what it means, let em sit in it for a lil while, to help them be flexible.

wraping is bad IMHO, go with ceramic or other coatings. Much more effective and doesn't hold water and possibly cause your metal to corrode faster.

Less work & less weight added also.
