Default Sound of TWE System, COBB Cams & Weapon-R Intake *Vid*

I've read many comments on this and other boards about "loosing" the boxer sound by going to equal length headers. So I made a quick video clip from the tail of the Zero-to-Hero 2.5RS Project Car. Complete car specs and the 5mb video are linked from this location:

Enjoy!

That car sounds so nice. Whoever said eq headers make it sound like a honda? I think not. Now you need to get some video of you driving by so we can hear the car coming and going.

The headers did get rid of the rumble a little bit, but it still sounds awesome. I was weary of getting headers before just because people said it would change the sound, but now I'm getting some

News who knew

Man you should be on myth busters with this video. That equal length rumor should be dispelled like so many other false widely belived tales.

I'd buy TWE headers for the quality alone. And I'm planning on it, eventually... plus one of their midpipes (with resonator). Probably combined with a Scoobysport or Prodrive 2.5" catback.

It definitely removes some of the lower-end noise, that much is obvious in the sound. I'm not crazy about some of the tinny/buzzy noise that I hear.... but maybe that's just the video. Or an old soundcard.

Certainly isn't the speakers: Boston Acoustics MediaTheater 4.1, seven years old and still kickin' butt.

Hmm, this is exactly the build I've been contemplating.

Any "missfire" CEL's from the cams?

Low idle issues?

Thanks,

Good thing you mentioned this. I'm not crazy about the very low end sound myself. As the car picked up, it sounds nice to me. It was the initial take off sound that I didn't like. I was looking for some more mentions of this.

Who cares? ok-good sound, great build quality, great power. Kudos!

still has the boxer sound just not as much and sounds great compared to a honda because as i was listening to the vid i heard a honda go by and you can heard the individual cylinders fire on that but not on most inline 4 cars
