Default Running rich and studdering with front O2 heater code

I know I need to just get a new front o2 sensor but I'm curious if it could be anything else or could it hurt anything driving it while I'm driving it.

I think its dying slowly cuz I cleared the code and it doesn't come back for a week or so. I am going to check the sensor for melted/damaged wires first.
